In short: we collect what we need to run your account and services, keep it on our own servers in Oregon, share it only with the providers that help us run things (payments, email, servers), and never sell it, use it for ads, or let it train AI models. No tracking cookies.
1. Who we are
SecureGate Technologies LLC, doing business as SecureGate, in Reno, Nevada, runs securegatetechnologies.com, the customer hub and our hosting services. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and your choices. Questions: support@securegatetechnologies.com.
2. What we collect
When you contact us through the website form: your name, email, company, what you need and your message. It goes to our support inbox by email.
When you use the hub:
- Account details: your name, email address, and business name; who's on your team and their roles.
- Security: your password, stored only as a one-way hash (Argon2id); your two-factor secret, stored encrypted; recovery codes, stored hashed; your signed-in sessions with the device's IP address and browser.
- What you do in the hub: support requests and messages, project feedback and approvals, and a log of important account actions (such as sign-ins, purchases and changes), with IP addresses, kept for security.
- Billing: your plans, invoices and a Stripe customer ID. Card details are entered on a secure form from Stripe and go straight to Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Content you host with us: the files, websites, apps and drive contents you upload. We process these only to host them, back them up, scan them for malware and keep them secure.
Technical data: when anyone visits our sites or the websites we host, our servers record technical details such as IP address, browser, the page requested and the time, for security and troubleshooting. Our firewall records more detail about requests it flags as attacks.
4. How we use it
- To provide the hub and our services, set them up, and bill for them.
- To keep accounts and systems secure: sign-in protection, preventing abuse and fraud, investigating attacks.
- To contact you about your account, receipts, security alerts, outages and changes to our services or terms.
- To reply to messages and support requests.
- To meet legal obligations.
We don't sell personal information, use it for advertising, or use your data to train AI models.
6. How long we keep it
- Account and billing records: while your account exists, and afterwards as long as needed for tax and legal records.
- Hosted content: until the service ends, then 30 days; backups of it expire 14 days after they're made.
- The hub's database backups: 14 days.
- Signed-in sessions: until they expire or you sign out (30 days at most). Account activity log: 2 years.
- Server and firewall logs: up to 30 days. Uptime-check history: 30 days. Malware-scan results: 90 days.
- Contact-form and support emails: as long as useful to support you, in our mailbox.
7. Your choices and rights
You can see and update your name and email in the hub (Account, Profile), and see and sign out your devices (Account, Security). To get a copy of your personal information, correct it, or have it deleted, email support@securegatetechnologies.com from the address on your account; we'll respond within 30 days. We may keep what the law requires us to keep.
We don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of; Nevada residents may still send an opt-out request to support@securegatetechnologies.com and we'll confirm it.
If you're a customer of one of our clients (for example someone using an app we built or host for a business), that business decides how your information is used. Contact them first; we'll help them respond.
8. Security
We protect information with two-factor sign-in, encrypted connections, hashing and encryption of secrets, isolated hosting accounts, a firewall, malware scanning, prompt security updates and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we'll notify you as the law requires.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and aren't directed to children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16; if you think we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and tell hub users about significant changes by email or in the hub before they take effect.
